Child safety

Reverb, by Tate Hedemann, has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation.

Our standard

Nobody may use Reverb to sexualise, exploit or endanger a child. That includes child sexual abuse material of any kind, grooming a minor, sextortion, and any content or message that sexualises a minor. It is prohibited in every part of the app — posts, captions, comments, profiles, profile photos, and messages sent with a song — and it is prohibited by our Terms of Use.

You must be at least 13 to use Reverb, and a minor may use it only with a parent or guardian's agreement.

Reporting

In the iPhone app, every post, comment and profile has Report in its ⋯ menu. On the web, every post and profile does. Reports come straight to us, and we review every one within 24 hours.

You can also email support@reverbmusic.app with the subject "Child safety" — no account needed.

If a child is in immediate danger, call 911 or your local emergency number first. You can also report directly to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children at report.cybertip.org or 1-800-843-5678.

What we do

• We remove content that breaks this standard and permanently remove the account that posted it.
• We report apparent child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) through its CyberTipline, as US law requires, and preserve it as the law requires rather than simply deleting it.
• We cooperate with law enforcement investigating child exploitation.
